Children's Corner Childcare - Moorlands Nursery

"Children's Corner Moorlands is a really lovely nursery and the perfect place for my daughter. Despite Covid restrictions when she started they took the time to make sure she settled in well and she has built a really strong bond with her key workers Holly and then Caitlin. I love the updates and photos that we get throughout the day so we can see what she's been up to and the communication is excellent. A big plus for me is that the price is inclusive of everything, nappies, food, etc. Other than providing some spare clothes just in case, everything is taken care of and there are no hidden costs or extras."

"Our first impression of Children's Corner Moorlands convinced us that it was the right nursery for our son and we have been very happy with the care that he has received. My questions were carefully listened to and worked through in a telephone conversation with the Nursery Manager before my son started. Naps had always been a challenge. Right from the start staff miraculously managed to help him get the rest he needed during the day. The routine always seems to be sufficiently flexible to take account of his needs. Staff were happy to support my wish to try giving my son expressed milk during the day, although ultimately he chose not to drink it. This didn't affect his enthusiasm to continue breastfeeding! Before Covid the nursery had a nice programme which allowed parents and other family members to join the children in celebrating key events. Hopefully this will resume when it is safe to do so. In the meantime the nursery has introduced Famly, a new platform for monitoring the childrens' progress. This has helped us feel much more involved in the daily activities."

"Childrens corner at moorlands is a fantastic nursery setting that we originally chose because of its smaller family feel. We knew from day one that it was the right place for our daughter to attend. All of the staff are amazing, they treat the kids as if they are their own and really know the children as individuals. Communication from the staff is spot on, from the daily reports in the baby room to the detailed daily updates from the over 2s now on the family app, you really feel that you can keep up with their day and not miss out on their development when working full time. Recently, with school approaching in September, the over 2 staff have made sure that our daughter is ready to make the transition. We know that she is going to miss all of the staff at moorlands as she counts them as part of our extended family. We would highly recommend childrens corner at moorlands to anyone looking for a nursery, be it for the baby room or the over 2s."

"It can be an anxious time deciding which is the right childcare provider for your circumstances but I’m very pleased to say, I’ve had no regrets whatsoever with our choice and highly recommend Children’s Corner at Moorlands. A lot of parents thoughts can be influenced by location/proximity to work/home and that was a consideration for us too. We looked at a few nurseries in our locality but I instantly knew I’d found the right place when I looked around here. It has a very homely feel. The staff are genuinely interested in the children and engage brilliantly with them. I felt they cared about each individual and we weren’t just another number/customer. We get comprehensive daily reports, lots of photos and observations and are fully informed on the day our child has had. She has developed and flourished there so much, more than we could have achieved at home. Our daughter often bounds through the door without so much as a backward glance to say goodbye, which is a clear sign she is happy and settled there. I think she genuinely enjoys all aspects of the nursery but the forest school trips are a particular highlight. We’ve had a second daughter who will be starting there in a few months time and I’m excited to know that she will be able to get the same opportunities and experiences as our eldest."

"Children’s Corner Moorlands has been part of our family for nearly the last 10 years with our two children. All the staff over the years have always been warm, friendly, professional and always put the well-being and happiness of the children first. Our youngest will be leaving soon to start school and she will really miss everyone particularly all the amazing key workers she’s had over the last 4 years. Fran, Amy, Aimee and so many more wonderful staff have been fantastic and I would highly recommend Children’s Corner Moorlands to anyone who is looking for a loving and homely setting for their little ones."
