Reviews of Argos Ashton Moss (Inside Sainsbury's)
"Very disappointed in Argos, as I bought a game as a gift on Friday. They slapped the £65 top end price on it, knowing it was in high demand, only for Monday to come round and then drop it to 56. Horrible company to do this to customers especially when it’s a cost of living crisis. Won’t be using them again."
"Went in to collect an item from here. Didn't get an hello just a shout yes. Then just stared at me until I asked what she would like. She just said the number. Then went back to staring, then because of the silence (obviously I had no idea what she was waiting for) she said collection number with a huff. Then she went to collect my item l. She brought out my item and stated that she hated it. I said I think it is very cute. She then persisted in pushing the button and said Ew the nose is horrible. I just replied saying by saying that it's a good job it's not for her it's a gift for my friend who loves pigs. I didn't need want or ask for her opinion. When I made it clear no I wasn't interested in her opinion she just carried on. She was really rude and obnoxious and I really tried to keep my patience with her but she was pushing it. Do not recommend buying here. It's not the first time I have heard staff being rude to the customers"
"Customer service can go 50/50 in this place depending on the women.Today for example my partner was stood next to me when I was trying to order using their touchscreen service and a lady instantly went over to him asking if he was okay....erm yeah he is fine next to me.... Then when it came to me trying to pick my order I was not greeted at all! Just a very stern shout to number 3 and when I ask if it was for a water bottle, lady replied back to me with a very rude yes. Not making assumptions here but the staff are either ageist or not use to people of colour. Very disappointing!"
"I had problems with domestic and general repairs. I was messed around with them for almost a week and because I got my warranty from argos I went in store and spoke to a lady who I believe is called Paige, she handled everything for me and spent over half an hour on the phone to them ensuring I had everything sorted. And on my behalf filed a complaints form. The epitome of good customer service"
"My wife and her elderly mother visited the store yesterday. They were served by Lewis, who was very helpful, friendly and patient. Went the extra mile, nothing was too much trouble. Lewis was a credit to himself and Argos. Thank you and Well Done."
