"Good location, easy to get to by car if you avoid the rush hour traffic going in/out of Blackwall tunnel otherwise you could be waiting a while. Nice large car park with 3 hour free parking controlling by camera so be aware! You can park longer if you pay and display. Store seems to have short queues most of the time I've been there. Has a small selection of clothes as well, not the full range. Tesco's have for some odd reason got rid of their manned checkouts and replaced them with more self checkouts. I was there at 10.30pm on a Monday and the queues were so long that I had to leave my shopping after waiting ages!! The wait seems much longer now and I prefer to go elsewhere if I have the time. Bad move Tesco. Also available Hermes 24hr parcel locker. You can now drop off and collect parcels by Hermes from the locker that is accessible 24/7 located near the entrance to the store next to the car park, the lighting isn't great at night. A great new service if your parcels are no larger than 41x66x38 cm. You will need to book online or use the app ofcourse. Petrol station nearby, entrance on Hancock Road just before you get back on the A12. Be careful as entrance can be easily missed. The petrol station has the usual supermarket priced fuels. Has very wide aisles and accepts card payment at the pumps so quick and easy, doesn't usually have queues. You can also top up with air and water for your vehicle, there is a charge for this service. Recently added a jet wash that is chargeable by the minute, payment is by contactless card and is relatively simple to use and pay. The area is well lit and away from the filling stations although a little tight if you have a van or larger vehicle."

"What a joke. This is a superstore and only 2 tills open. Been waiting for more than 30 minutes in queue and most of the frozen items have melted. Till operators not even pressing the buzzer. There’s lots of staff doing shelving but managers just wondering about. Only came for diesel but the price is £1.99 a litre for basic supermarket brand. Shell is £1.96. Obvious profiteering. All in all today was pathetic. Hopefully a better experience another time."

"This Tesco has at least 15 checkouts and 8 self-service machines. Yet at busy times, I’ve seen 3 tellers on and a massive queue (sometimes almost half the length of the store) for the self-service machines. This strategy is unworkable and unfair on staff and customers. I find it a miserable experience."
