"The chocolate muffin is superb! And the walkers chips is really tasty"
"If it wasn't for knowing one of the managers l would have placed 1 star. The Tesco's headquarters have seriously let this area down with building such a small Tesco's for such a large area. Not least because the space on top of the Tesco is to have residential properties in the thousands by 2024. This smaller Tesco's, than the one we had in 2014, MAKES NO SENSE. I'm off at 8am to make sure that l can fill my basket with all the essentials. It is inconvenient, but less of an inconvenience should l arrive at 4pm, to leave with 30% of my shopping list. This low stock, smaller Tesco's is the reason why the staff at Tesco's are so guarded. The daily abuse they get from customers, letting them know how disappointed they are must be so depressing for all the staff members. The Oval village needs an industrial sized Tescos. The Tesco's that stocks clothing and kitchenware, and makeup etc. Think of the massive profits that Tesco's is missing out on everyday!!!! The idiocisy is mind-boggling."
"Completely average. A lot of stuff is out of stock often. It’s pretty meh"
"Supervisor or manager breached trading standard laws. Was at the till and when I highlighted that the till did not show the £1.50 as I was still being charged £2.20. He followed me to aisle. Removed the display price and told me he will NOT be honouring the advertised price. Thankfully, I took a photo (posted) just before he removed the display price. I told him about trading standard laws regarding advertised prices and told me it doesn’t matter. It is such a small issue but wrote this review purely out of principle. The employee should have removed the price and honour the offer as a one-off."
"Possibly the worst, most depressing Tesco in London. Sells rather random items, but rotates stock so you’ll never reliably find the same thing twice. Extremely consistently out of stock. You are guaranteed a long queue and staff who don’t won’t respond to it."
