"I never write reviews, so for me to actually write one about a store… it’s bad. Second time I’ve gone in here to find MEAT past it’s use by date, I was given a voucher by the complaints department prior to this as I had bought something past it’s use by date - my fault for not checking although I shouldn’t really have to make sure somethings in date before buying! Store manager walks around laughing & joking on his mic instead of helping his own staff - the lady who was serving me was completely ignored by him as he continued to make jokes to whoever he was speaking to on the other end of the headset. Such poor management in this shop, will not be returning to this branch. It’s a joke & waste of time!"

"Went in to refund an item. Had previously encountered the lady at the self checkouts, on another day, and wasn’t a pleasant experience. However, assumed it was a one off, and brushed it off. Today, she was pleasant with everyone prior to me, until I approached her and told her I’d like to do a refund at the till. Immediately her expression turned sour, and she didn’t communicate for the rest of the encounter. When returning the item, authorisation was needed, and we had to wait for someone with a key fob to authorise the refund. In the wait period, her entire demeanour was hostile, and quite frankly, although nothing was said, I felt extremely uncomfortable. She was smiley and playful with her colleague on the till next to us, yet every time she’d address me, it wasn’t pleasant. After the refund was done, I thanked her, to which there was no response. I don’t know if it was targeted, or if she was simply having a bad day, but the experience was truly horrible and I never want to buy something that may need returning ever again, just so I can avoid an encounter like today’s one. "I just love Lidl. I really do. I used to love the prices once upon a time. Nowadays tho its so pricey one has to wipe the sweat off his brow when paying. Its for this reason it's 3 stars but Lidl is always worth the visit."

"Not going to lie, needed to use their car park and felt obliged to make a small purchase (Mr. Kiplings lemon cake slices, if you're wondering). Its Lidl. Its like any other Lidl, clean, efficient and with sizable queues at each check out lane, because they are popular!"
