Reviews
"Nice Sainsbury Local. Opens 7 days."
"I was so excited when this store opened. On my first couple of visits, I quite enjoyed shopping in there - friendly staff, convenient, space (unlike Tesco locals) and generally a pleasant atmosphere. But very gradually, it has fallen by the wayside. The self service tills permanently go wrong and there's no staff to be found to assist you. Today, I was surprised to see a member of staff filling the shelves but talking very loudly on his mobile (via mic and earpiece) I wanted to ask him a question but he was clearly too busy catching up with his friends. Please Sainsburys, sort your tills and customer service out before it turns into the depressing shitholes that Tesco locals have become."
"WATCH OUT FOR WHAT YOU PAY - Awful experience today - prices on display are different from what you pay at the till. It sadly happens too often. Today, I thought I was buying a pack of strawberries for £2 (as mentioned on display) but I ended up paying £3.75 at the till. I raised the issue to the manager and asked for a reimbursement less than 10 minutes before buying them. She simply refused to do so arguing that this is my problem if I can't read prices on display! Their prices on display are too often not matching what we pay at the till, and since most of us don't take a receipt there is little chance that you will notice. This is bad, very bad. I also wonder whether it is intentional or a problem of training!"
"Be good if this store, had more sainsburys brands. Also a better variety of meal deals, or pasta Bake or hot chicken wigs section. Like some locals have, if that is possible at this store. Think it would make this store be more convenient for most of the locals. Staff have improved from the start and was thankful for the free bread I was given that the manager was given for free at 10pm as they would of had to throw it away."
"This convenience store is not very convenient at all. I bought decaff coffee by mistake and went back in less than 5 min after I'd bought it to swap to my original coffee. The woman who served said it was ok but I should ask the manager just in case??? The manager told me I couldn't swap as I didn't take the receipt. I explained he could check the till. I was the last customer but he said it was against company policy to let customer change items without receipt. I did it anyway. Most female staff are friendly and polite but the guys seem all miserable. I used to go every day but stopped after the shop stopped selling saisburys own brand items. Why pay £2.39 for a jar of pesto when Sainsbury's own brand pesto is under a pound. And no half fat"
