Reviews
"Average Sainsbury, Although they purposefully keep their beer and wine fridge unstoked or strike it with oddities unlikely to sell. Not sure if its an agenda. But might as well just remove the fridge with the cost of electricity. #savethewhales"
"Fantastic shop and staff always very friendly and helpful even under pressure... really appreciate this shop as live just across the road... Often have great savings too..."
"Rudest staff ever! I have a service dog and not one, but 3 of them stopped me asking to leave: first the security at the door (that's normal and I understand it) and as soon as I showed the card she let me in, only to be immediately stopped by another employee that was just topping up the shelves and even asked me "what is that for?", and at the end, after I paid, the cashier said "next time don't bring the dog".. excuse me??"
"Between this and the Tesco Metro 1 minute walk away, I prefer the Sainsbury's. The opening hours seem to be slightly better (it's open an hour longer at night), it has a better range of fruit, vegetable, bakery goods, frozen goods, most everything. There's freshly baked goods (including baguettes), and the fruit and veg is usually fresh. It often gets very busy between 6-7pm on weekdays, with the queues sometimes stretching around the shop - but the staff generally manage it well, with all tills manned and someone available to help on the self-service machines. As a small local supermarket, I don't really have any complaints."
