"My child goes here and they will support you no matter what and now my child is in year 6 and the head teacher is nice."
"I attended this primary school many years back from 1974 -1981...many happy yrs here(apart from 1teacher mr minty )who was a bully .like I say happy days here ..."
"This is the best school I've been to since my school back in London. But there's one problem: the "anti-bully approach." It isn't effective enough. The "warning" and "consequence" card need an upgrade in It's meaning. Or you can add another consequence like being sent to the headteacher or something."
"Uplands Sec. Modern was ok but a few bullies were around. Upstairs was glazed in in my time there. Can still remember all teachers names, some better than others at their jobs! Left 1967. Head Mr Watkiss. Dep Head Mr Butler."
"This school was once infants through senior school. I was born in 1938 and attended until I was almost 16 years old and held the post of Headboy in 1952/53 under the Head of the day, Mr Watkins. I enjoy ed my time there and received a good education which enabled me to pursue a very successful career. I have nothing but fond memories of my time, especially of the extra 9 months I undertook further studies under teachers like Mr Beech(English) and Mr Percival(sciences). I wish the school well."
