Reviews of Priory School
"Not a bad school, academically my child is blossming here, but this private school is not as good as I had hoped. As I do have concerns about the care and attention the staff pay on the children, I am unable to fully review the school at the present time. I will provide a detailed update in due course."
"Before giving my whole view on this school, please note I am a student at priory so I have full experience of the school. The school used to be so good back when I was in year 7, the teachers were hard working and bare chill. They did so much to help and personally my relationships with them were so good. Until all of them left over lockdown. it was really sad to see the best teachers leave, but I dont blame them. During lockdown the learning system was corrupt, but of course it wasn't entirely priory's fault. But, after lockdown this school had gone downhill so much its mad. I even know kids in my year who left over lockdown and moved to better schools. You had to sit outside constantly through lunch and break in tents. And half of the normal activities other schools were doing we weren't doing. it was annoying since I felt my parent's money were being wasted on such terrible facilities and opportunities. The school is now left with half decent teachers but I would do anything to have the same teachers I had in year 7, it gave me the best impression of priory but now I feel it was all a hoax. The school is so messed up and seriously need to spend money on fixing it up. Half the school is from 1800 and you can't even piss without kids opening your door because there isn't any locks. Literally all of the school is filled with roadman wannabees that think they are hard because they mess around. But there are good things about the school. The PE teacher is mad nice and motivates you a lot and the other half of the school that is modern is nice. but sometimes I feel like prep school have 10x better facilities then senior school."
"I love this school! Never mind the bad reviews, they are probably from people who had nothing else to spend their time on! Everyone is kind and Mrs Howe is the best teacher I ever had. The teachers are always there for you, even during tough times. It is very clean and neat as well. They control children very well and are patient with what you have to say. With their small class sizes and amazing teaching it truly is the best! They are also very calm when you don't understand something and will explain it again."
"My son has been in this school since reception and we couldn´t be happier. The small size classes offer the students the opportunity to get a individual education so nobody is left behind and the kids can improve and focus on different skills; the teachers and the Priory community really care about their their students not only on their academic success but as human beings as well. I totally recommend this school. Priory is like a family."
"Awesome, amazing school full of positive opportunities and rewards. All the teacher's are really good at what they do and are approachable, if there are any problems the teacher's sort them out really quickly. The Heads and Deputy's are really easy to talk to and friendly. All the subjects are fun, interesting and challenging. There are plenty of activities on offer throughout the year, including sports to maths challenges. The facilities are great and the classes are small , so you get more support from the teachers in lessons, all the pupils are polite and hardworking . I have enjoyed my second year at The Priory School and I have gained more knowledge in all subjects. I have been given the opportunity to be part of the netball team and have played different schools, which has been an amazing experience. Its a great school with great teachers and pupils!"
