Reviews of King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys
"Went on weekends for swimming lesson with Diamond swimming academy. On same site is the girls school and 6th form, very big school, lots of open fields for sports and recreation, both school look very equipped for teaching and has lots of facilities."
"The school is providing excellent all rounded education . We are very lucky that our boy studying at such privilege school with great support from Head teacher and teachers. Pls don’t simply put negative review if u not even know the school well."
"Being an external student, I was expecting to be greeted with a welcoming attitude from students whom already attend the school (as promised in my interview before admission.) Unfortunately, i was met with a belligerent and hostile attitude from current students. Whilst the teachers were welcoming, the students were unwelcoming and impolite. One student uttered the phrase "What's THAT ONE looking at?" to another external student. Some could not even crack a simple smile! The demographic is extremely specific and if you are not a member of a specific culture you will not be welcomed rather , excluded. EXTERNAL STUDENTS DO NOT BE BLINDED BY THE SCHOOLS EXEMPLARY STATUS AND REPUTATION! YOUR MENTAL HEALTH SHOULD BE OF A PRIORITY. - would give 0 stars if i could :)"
"Don't come to this school for A levels. Majority of teachers cancel their lessons and are only concerned for the cleverest students. Some teachers hold multiple roles within the school so getting help from them is a pain. I've never felt so lonely and puzzled by these teachers. If you achieve about 9A*s at gcse then you're ok but otherwise you will struggle. The lack of motivation that teachers and the school bring as a whole is very depressing especially if you have not been there since year 7."
