About the Business
Welcome to Thornton Primary School, a vibrant and dynamic institution located at Thornton Rd, Birmingham B8 2LQ, United Kingdom. Our school is a point of interest in the local community and we take pride in the education and care we provide to our students.
As a leading primary school, we strive to create a nurturing and welcoming environment where students are given the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve to their fullest potential. Our dedicated team of experienced teachers work tirelessly to provide a holistic education to students, focusing not just on academic excellence but also on social and personal growth.
At Thornton Primary School, we offer a wide range of programs and extracurricular activities to enrich our students' learning experience. Whether it's sports, music, drama, or language clubs, there is something for everyone to participate in and develop their interests and skills.
We understand how important it is for parents to be involved in their child's education and we encourage an open and collaborative partnership between school and home. In addition to our excellent educational programs, we also place a strong emphasis on community service and social responsibility. Our students are encouraged to engage in a variety of community service projects to give back to the community and develop values of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
We invite you to join our Thornton Primary School community and experience the excellence in education and care that we offer. Contact us today to arrange a visit and see for yourself why we are a leading primary school in Birmingham.

"Mad school. Enjoy it alot. Teachers care and the education is very good."
"This school has a lot of good quality facilities but is let down by prevalent antisocial behaviour amongst students and an unwillingness by leadership to tackle them. A child had her ear cut by scissors and needed to be sent to hospital recently begging the question of where is the supervision? Teaching is poor to average so extra tuition is a necessity. Leadership insists they are happy to listen its just a shame they seem incapable of acting on parental concerns!"
"Teachers actually care about your education which automatically makes this school better then 80% of the others"
"I learnt many things in this school and it has taught their students to act in a polite and excellent manner and they also keep their students very busy studying and getting them ready for a great future. Well this is what i have learnt and it has made my secondary school very easy for me and now that i am in year 8 there will be lots of work i guess -- Mareena Qiam"
"Visited today for stay and play it seemed more of a meeting place for the local women, the Stay and Play organiser was not very inviting, no structure and no planned activities. Would not recommend."
