The lake itself is a peaceful place to sit and watch the ducks and swans. Walking through the park you can get a real sense of the old Edwardian character of the place. Uniquely for this Darwen park there is a wonderful sculpture trail that leads you through to the upper park and onto the Moors. It's a great start to the walk to the Jubilee (Darwen) Tower."
