"It’s actually a decent place until you’re blatantly racially profiled by security and then they lie and say they’re not following you, as they’re following you. Then get aggressive towards you as when you call them out and catch them. Accountability is hard to accept. ^update. 5 months on. The guard is still there. He’s still antagonising me when I’m shopping and I’m now made to feel uncomfortable shopping at my local supermarket. I’ve lived in the area 20 years to add background. Today 04/08/22 I was shopping and the securities guard tried the same actions. This time I spoke with manager Sue. Explained the situation and that I was informed the guard will be moved to another store and clearly he hasn’t and is still bothering me. Either Waitrose are ok with racial profiling or they just don’t care."
"excellent staff, always friendly and helpful. usually checkouts fast. We use the scan and go ones which are temperamental at times but always someone on hand to help. shopping basket competitive with other brand stores if you use their essential range which quality wise is very good. Also if you have a Waitrose card you have money off coupons sent to you or special offers in store."
