Reviews of Spud Wood
"Big disapointment. Way to many loose dogs with dog walkers, muddy and boring. On edge with my on lead dog. Nothing like the info given. Long walk from village, small carpark,no toilets or refreshments. Won't be going again."
"Perfect hour with the dogs here. Lots of space to roam'and very well maintained"
"Dog Busy some times... but a big enough estate with helsdale wood next door to manoeuvre a doggy in training..."
"Decent place for a short walk. We spent an hour here on a Thursday afternoon. You can walk along the canal and around the woodland and field but there isn't much to do or see apart from that. A little busy and not very easy to social distance along the canal. Free small car park plus space on the road if it's full. Fine as a one off but better places to go."
"Decent walk out when the sun is shining. My dog enjoyed the walk too. Dog friendly flat walk. Far too many dog poo bags lying about though. Not enough if even any bins in the Woodlands only by the carpark entrance did I spot one."
