"Today, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 6m digital planetarium experience to all 240 Year 1 to Year 8 pupils at Winterfold House School. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and found the hall prepared just as I had requested. The day was well organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited but well-behaved students enjoyed a rich selection of content: peering up at the planetarium night sky, visiting the International Space Station, learning about a future colonised Solar System; as well as how British scientists search for real aliens, how astronomers collaborate globally and the various colours and temperatures of stars. Thank you Winterfold House School for a very pleasant visit."
"Both of our daughters have attended Winterfold for over 10 years now, and I can honestly say it was the best decision we ever made. As our eldest is now in year 8 and her final year we will be extremely sad to leave. Winterfold has given her the confidence she lacked when she was tiny and it’s been lovely to see her grow in confidence and take on new challenges. Whilst there she’s been lucky enough to go on some amazing school trips such as South Africa, Rome and Pompeii. Both have made great friends and the teachers are always available to chat if you need them. Winterfold provides a safe environment encouraging your child and supporting them in whatever their talent. If you’re looking for a school with a family- feel (where all the teachers personally know the children) then in my opinion you won’t find a better place. Unfortunately Winterfold finishes in year 8, if it didn’t then we would definitely stay longer."
