"As you’d expect just before Christmas, it was busy today. However at the cheese/delicatessen counter this afternoon, the women assistants were more concerned about having a chat among themselves. Despite seeing us and others waiting to be served, there was no acknowledgement from them. After waiting awhile we were seen to by the Asian male assistant who seemed to be left to deal with all the customers. He was polite and got on with things."

"The supermarket is brilliant. This review is about the cafe there is a really lovely cafe assistant working there called Chan she is exceptional at her job, along with the manager a lady called Sabrina. It makes a change to have concencious and pleasant staff."

"Excellent quality food and today I experienced exceptional customer service. I went to Waitrose especially today to buy their bake at home pain au chocolats- the freezer had had a malfunction and had been cleared. However, a customer services assistant by the name of Ash (Ashrafrahman) who works here was standing by and when he heard that my daughter really likes these, went out of his way to go all the way back to the stock cupboard to get me a packet so that I wouldn't have to come back. I saw him also taking the time out to help a customer before me, something he doesn't have to do. His friendly manner, professionalism and quality of service was above and beyond what I'm used to with other supermarkets. It reinforces that Waitrose does beyond for their customers, and I will certainly continue to return as a regular shopper as a result. Thank you Ash and Waitrose!"
