"Big supermarket. I do not understand why the opening hours are not longer, nowhere have I lived near a "big tesco" that closes at 7pm. It's fairly well stocked given the shortages, security does a good job considering I always see them wrestling or chasing shoplifters."
"Worst supermarket ever! A huge warehouse tucked away in the grim shopping centre of Catford. Despite its size, it attracts few customers - and little wonder. There is almost no fresh food on offer - a total of three aisles of refrigerated units which only occupy half the depth of the shop and milk and butter takes up a third of that. Grim."
"Popped in here last week to pick up a few bits. Very spacious store. Very quiet too! I only have one little criticism as we were looking for bolognaise sauce and looked in the "sauces" aisle only to find that it was not there at all! Maybe this Tesco store should change that as it can confuse the customers. Instead we found it in another aisle. Other than that good store."
"Asked the store manager a simple question this morning. Why are you no longer selling hotdog buns??? His answer was!! Well I don't bloody know!! But in a raised voice.. so I answered in the same way. Why don't you know? You're the store manager!! Surely if anyone knows it should be you? He then tried getting in my face"
"I’m going to review the features within this store and then give my final review. Starting with: Customer Service: The customer service in this store is okay, its not outstanding nor is there anything special to rave about – it’s just alright. The members of staff are easy going and I personally have never had any issues with them nor seen customers at odds with them either. Size/Services: To say there are a handful of services within this store would be an understatement. As you can see from my pictures, the store is expansive and VAST. There SO many services and features within this Tesco, that trying to name them and go through them all individually would make for a long list, but I can mention that they do have: a post/mailbox, customer services section, news and mags, technology and gaming section, clothes, bakery, etc. As you can see from my pictures, the store is massive as it also has over 20 isles worth of merchandise. This is fitting considering that this Tesco is the largest supermarket within Catford, thus making it the hotspot “one-stop-shop”. Queues: Despite the size of the store and how busy it gets during the peak hours, the members of staff working by the self-service checkouts generally do a good job of keeping the queues moving really well. There are a lot of manned tills within the store as well, so customers are generally spoilt for choice between choosing either the tills out self-checkout because either one is just as fast. Hygiene: The store is consistently clean which in this case is an impressive feat especially when you take the size of the store into consideration. Hats off and much respect to the cleaners because they do a good job of keeping the store looking clean and well looked after. Summary Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about this store because it deserves the praises I have given. I can’t think of anything negative I have to say about the store off the top of my head nor from past experiences shopping there. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking to do their grocery shopping in Catford."
