"I have ordered from City Supermarket many times and they are very reliable and their drivers are always extremely polite. You have to remember that they deliver into the early hours when other shops are closed so you might see a small price increase but only by a few pounds. I personally would highly recommend them as their delivery time is spot on and they don’t substitute any items for cheaper ones. 5 Stars from me ."

"Awful service and the workers STEAL parcels. According to Evri Postal Service, this particular shop is notorious for stealing packages from customers. They tried telling me the driver took the parcel as they had no proof of it, this is after the parcel was scanned INTO the store. DO NOT trust this store and STOP stealing."

"I asked the guy how much is minimum card payment, The man replys £5, then £4 then £3.....funny as I had 2 capri suns worth £2, Do you think he's trying to get more money out of me?!?!?"

"Customer Service: 5/5 very helpful and always looking to save you money which is levels above near by groceries. Availability: 4/5 although it has all you need, there are sometimes shortages of certain drinks after school time which is acceptable. Also if customers would like they can ask the manager to order any groceries for purchase. Overall statement: Great store, would recommend to anyone in the borough, also it's nice to sit and talk with the manager Hamid, he is very welcoming!"

"Called ahead to see if anyone was in. Didn't answer so we sent a Canary down the mine (he was called lewis). This jeopardy did not sit well with our Saturday evening vibe. However, Lewis showed outstanding courage setting out alone into the wilderness of Whitechapel in order to fulfil our desire for the ginsession.. Lewis said the exterior light was an alarming bright light, attracting lewis like a moth to a flame, almost one gradient less than terrifying, if it was one shade warmer he would have cried. He was greeted with a warm welcome, unlike the cold weather and juxtaposed with the intensity of the fierceness of the entrance light. Lewis asked for gin: "which gin?" He said, with kind demeanour. He suggested Gordon's, perhaps. In addition, his colleague fetched two bottles of tonic while lewis considered the kind offer, albeit he was proposing to exchange money for the gin. Paid, left, high 5d the shop keep. He wanted lewis to join him for a party later. Lewis politely declined. Bravo Lewis, 5/5, city supermarket, 4/5."
