"This is the convenience store closest to King's College Hospital on Denmark Hill, and so presumably often used by in and outpatients in need of a wander, or a slightly more extensive range than King's own limited shop. I was admitted as an emergency and so without my wallet. Despite making purchases in excess of £6, I was told that there is always a 50p surcharge for using touch & pay with my phone, and its registered debit card. Such a piffling sum for which to screw someone when he's down, it beggars belief."
