"Easy to find, very close to motorway. Nice big rooms for families. not much storage space if you plan to stay there for couple of nights or more- but that did not bother me much to be honest. The pool, sauna and steam rooms are a super plus and best ones. Staff very polite- please check timings before you get there and plan to use any of the spa facilities as website may not be right- depends on what is schedule on for the day. Had dinner at the pub- was good- hardly any vegetarian options in the mains menu. Breakfast buffet was very good. Overall very nice place definitely going to stay here again."
"Lovely room. Big comfy bed each with really lovely quilts and pillows. Great that there was an iron and board. Very nice shower gel and shampoo . Would have liked to have used the pool but was a £5 charge which seemed a bit much when we had paid £80 for the room. Would be nice to be free for residents."
"I haven't been here for quite a few years and it was a bit of a shock when I walked in. The bar area on the right has gone, so has the nice restaurant on the left. It now looks more like a sports bar/cafe. I don't think the changes have improved the Hotel in any way - but maybe they are trying to attract a different clientele"
"Overall, our stay here was very pleasant. The location was perfect for us, and the staff were both efficient and friendly. My one criticism is with regard to room amenities. Our stay was of 12 nights. Unfortunately, we had to live out of the suitcases, as there was no storage space for clothes etc.. I guess that it boils down to what the Village is; a hotel with leisure facilities ; or a leisure complex with rooms attached. I tend to think the latter. Despite the shortcoming, I would probably stay there again."
"In a central area, a short walk from the town centre with plenty of parking. First impressions were that this was a bustling busy hotel with people using the leisure club and the on-site Starbucks. Rooms were clean - we had booked an early check in but this wasn’t available so we were refunded what we had paid. Great quirky decor with a fab sports bar. Breakfast was buffet style, a bit school canteenish but there was a good selection."
