Reviews
"Trude's is a fantastic grocery shop right in the heart of Clapham. Trude's specialises in high quality products, and is a little pricer than Waitrose."
"The sourdough bread used to be very good. Check the label carefully as the supplier is listed under the bread type. Quality and taste varies. The bread doesn’t have a soft crisp crust, isn’t springy. It’s like the dough hasn’t been proved enough before baking. It’s drier and denser. Doesn’t taste/feel fresh. Still good for toast, but overall it’s very disappointing now. I’ve tried the cakes and it’s style over substance or flavour in this case. The coffee is pretty good. The shop is clean, bright, spacious and easily accessible if you have a pushchair."
"Excellent selection of some of the finest food producers from the UK and beyond. I love the bakery counter too; a must-visit spot in Clapham."
"High quality essentials. The shop always very clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and coffee is really good."
"Lovely new addition to Clapham Common. This little grocer has all the essentials you need - organic and quality. All the selections are well curated, and you can find nice gift items too (in particular, chocolate). The staff are super friendly... Check it out, it’s a great place to go treat yourself."
