"This was a very interesting, informative though different experience than I expected, definitely worth a visit. After paying a very modest entrance fee the range of fish was surprisingly very good with detailed descriptions about each. The aquarium is not very big and upon exiting you enter the hologram exhibit."
""Matlock Aquarium is a fun place to visit Looking at the fish and you say " What is it?" On a wet day in Matlock Bath at half term we decided to visit the aquarium which can be found along the parade. On entering the building you take a walk upstairs through the 50 different species of fish which is accompanied with full descriptions of each and everyone of them!. Finishing up in the thermal pool which contains 8 different varieties of carp. On the second floor is a collection of holograms and also a Victorian museum. For a family of four it cost us around £15 which we felt it was not too badly priced and took us about an hour to see everything. It's not the biggest aquarium, but qwerky and well worth a visit."
"Great displays and very nice affordable entrance fees, you are also able to feed the carp. Only a small venue but an interesting read into the history and well worth a visit :) I didn't get any photos of the holograms but they were also impressive!"
"BEST MONEY I’VE EVER SPENT! £3.80 (at the time) entry, there was so much to see and it was all amazing! They could do with a feather dusting, but you can’t complain when you pay £3.80. The value for money is great, you see the petrifying well, a wide range of fish, turtles and a large Koi pond, on top of that there’s the hologram gallery and a lil history on Matlock bath. MUST SEE in Matlock Bath."
"It's a great place to visit tuck a youngist son here he loved it its not very big can do it in about 45 minutes but at £3.80 each it's not bracking the bank.my son loved feeding the fish in the big pool. The holographic room is very interesting the art in amazing feeling like it's jumping out at you. Will be tacking rest of the family next time."
