"Ask for itemised receipt! Bought a couple of things and was surprised I was charged £11.50 as it seemed quite high. Asked for a receipt and they first tried to give me just the card payment copy. I requested an itemised receipt and walked out of the store only to notice they tried to charge me 3 additional items. Returned and asked that there must be a problem, and they mentioned it was probably something that had to do with the previous customer’s order, a mix up, etc, and there’s two additional items overcharged. Went through the items on the receipt and was refunded two items. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it and there’s been a queue forming. I realised they still overcharged me £1 for an additional item, and felt I was scammed by a three-card-Monte con artist. Always ask for an itemised receipt!! And check if the prizes/items on the receipt correspond to what you buy."
