"The price is very high at least 20% than compare with other indian stores. Most of the items price label is missing and staff isn't care about the customers."
"The prices are around 10-20% higher than the popular Indian stores like Kingsbury Indian stores or VB Son's. However, it's a only Indian grocery store in Harrow hence getting popular. The problem I faced the lady on the counter is rude and I advise she should learn how to handle the rush moment as usually I never see any altercation on any of the British chain stores like a Tesco kindof store. But like any other store in India if footfall increases the staffs gets arrogant or rude. Many items are not mark up with price, I feel deliberately as those are pricy items. The store is not following best practices and I am sure they will end up by paying penalties of this violation to the UK authority granting shop licences or permission. I hope the owner reads the review and correct the slackness. Recommend for buying if you want to spend more and don't care saving couple of pound."
"Great staff! I frequently visit the place and recently I dropped my wallet there by accident while leaving the store which had my debit card and cash in it. The staff found it and tried searching for my address to return the wallet. They even visited my bank to find my address but the bank unfortunately couldn't share my personal details with them. Luckily two days later my mom visited the store when the staff confirmed my name and details with her and returned the wallet.I cannot express in words how grateful I am for their gesture. Great place, awesome staff and exceptional service!"
"I wish I could give zero stars. Taking advantage of being the only store in the vicinity who has Indian grocery. Keeps cheap stuff, sells at higher rate. I went there to return an item which had substantial quality - without having the product, the sales guy asks me to “talk to the company” who made the product. Seriously? He was happy to lose a customer for life for a 3 pound product. He says “it is your decision”. Well, the decision was made by then."
"On 25th April I went to get some sweet and grocery in this store. I picked up one box of sweet and I was looking at small packet of split Moong dal. I found price was higher than other stores. So I put the packet back on shelf. My shopping bag was on the floor. I also examined a small packet of Fennel seeds. I did not took that as well. I picked up my shopping bag and went around to Freezer to take one more box of sweet for my sister. I went to counter to make the payment. A young lady scanned the box then asked me what about the Moong Packet in your shopping bag. I said "What" She literally said the Split moong packet in your shopping bag. I saw you holding the packet in your hand. I was so furious that she was accusing me of shop lifting. I put my my shopping bag on the table and showed her my all shopping that I bought from Kingsbury "Tropical Fruit" and "Granmill" All packet had price tag with store name and I had receipt for the payment. I said to her How could you accuse me of stealing. So she said to me it is her right to ask. She did not even saw me picking up the packet and putting in my shopping bag as she was serving another customer. I told her that she could have asked her assistant to check her CCTV footage. The store has 3 cameras above the cash till. She carried on that its "Her Right". She left the counter and went inside. I did not pay and left the store. It was humiliating as there were other customer and store assistant. the other store assistant did not say anything even he saw me putting the packet back on shelf. There has to be some technique to ask the suspect. But in this store the staff are inefficient, they don't accept the credit/debit card for the goods under £5.00 value. So one has to buy something else to top up the limit. I called to speak to the manager or the owner in the evening. He/she was not available. I would not recommend this store to anyone as there is no mannerism towards customers."
