"Can’t fault the swimming lessons so far, changing facilities are awful the doors barely lock, people leave clothes in the cubicles. Showers are awful, then you get two hours free parking. More fool me for trying to have some fun with the kids before my eldest swimming lesson. Went over the 2 hours by 5 minutes and was charged full price in the car park rather than for the extra hour. They don’t disclose this is the case though. Not exactly easy to manage 2 under 2 from the car park getting changed and back to the car park. Carrying one and the other two walking to be charged full price rather than having the 2hours free parking deducted. Maybe pram facilities should be provided to make this easier and encourage people who use public transport to enjoy to. Where would they leave a pram if using public transport? Not very well thought out unfortunately so unless it happens to you, it isn’t something you think of. So this review is to hopefully stop someone else being caught out the same way."

"On the positive side, this is one of the few pools in Greater Manchester with slides. My daughter loves the lights in the slides and being able to choose the music. The baby area is fantastic and I wish I knew about it when my daughter was younger. Its really warm and engaging, plus there's the jacuzzi. Its a really cheap day out too. Areas for improvement: The whole place just feels grubby and in need of a REALLY deep clean. There are not enough cubicles or showers. The splash pool from the slides is too shallow for the speed the slides go, I scraped my elbow on the bottom of the pool upon landing and required first aid. The showers have a mind of their own alternating between hot and cold."

"The whole swimming area needs a good clean, also the main pool is so cold. Spent the entire hour in the hot tub with my 6 year old cause he didn’t wanna be freezing. Also had the pleasure of sitting next to a bloke who was picking his toenails in the hot tub for a good 10 minutes. So overall my review is cold and gross"

"I used the gym regularly for a couple of weeks on a family visit. Good range of equipment over two floors. Gear is a little old but all functions well. I went mid-mornings and never had to wait for the equipment I needed. If you stay in the Holiday Inn next door you get a discount! Staff are very friendly"

"I missed coming here. We booked to come for 11 o clock but surprisingly got here 40 min earlier. We were allowed to go early. Changing room was as I remember. It was clean. Toilets were somewhat clean. Can't fault the kids pool and jacuzzi tub. We couldn't sadly stay longer to use the big pool as we came early so needed to leave early. We had fantastic 40 min which flew by."
