"Bit too adventurous for me, although the turning metal disc /table is good fun. Play area is good overall fun for little folk."
"We have an 18 month old and there isn't much for a child of that age. Some big slopes/drops next to pathways, that could be dangerous to a toddler too. After 15 minutes we opted to let him toddle around the main park instead."
"Reviewing for wheelchair users Grosvenor park play area, Chester I can't comment on near by parking as I walked from the city centre Access the governor park does have access issue due to steps. You can access via ... The groves (bottom corner by the suspension bridge), St.John Ruins (before the steps down to the dee) Vicars Lane (comes in by the Rose garden) Union Street there's 2 entrances. There is a miniature railway that runs nearby the playarea. The play area is enclosed with a wooden fence. The is a cement path along the inside edge and around the equipment is a thin layer on wood chipping. The park has wooden and a metal climbing frame with balancing items, see saw, climbing ropes and slide. The roundabout is a above ground sit on type. There are toddler swings and a UFO swing. The picnic benches are wooden 4 seat type around the bench so there is no access for a wheelchair user to get near to the table. Toilets are available just a short walk from the play area by the cafe building (which seems to have closed) there are 3 disabled toilets that require radar key."
"Beautiful park garden with eco friendly play areas. Old man who drives mini train was so friendly nice person. He made sure everyone enjoyed who ridden the train."
"It's a fun play area for the kids. The train ride is right next to it! All the rides where working and in good condition. Kids had a great time. Enjoy."
