"These guys are normally friendly and helpful, but today one of them was surprisingly rude and condescending. I asked where the oven bulbs were, and luckily brought my old bulb with me for reference of size,wattage/volts. I showed him the bulb and instead he showed me a very long bulb totally unsuitable near the till. I told him no, look at it this one again. It needs to be same size so that the oven’s protective casing can fit back over it when I get home. I told him I am usually directed towards back of shop where smaller bulbs are in a box. He showed me the box and then went to serve someone else. I the picked up appropriate oven bulb for the box, took it to the till, and the same guy said “that’s for fridges!” I said no it is not - look ‘heat resistant’ stated on packet. He didn’t even say ohh sorry. Maybe because i am a woman he thought I’d automatically make wrong choice. And he got stressed because a couple of customers walked in after me, and wanted to rush me. Please be kind!"
