"I believe your company supplied the entertainment for Moorhall Hotel on New Years Eve? I have given one star as it is not possible to leave less. Most abysmal and disappointing set up and DJ service we have ever had the misfortune of suffering on a New Years Eve. Miserable and disinterested DJ that spoilt the night for many people who had paid good money to be there on the most important party night of the year. I have not attended any other New Years Eve black tie event where the DJ has not dressed the same. He looked unkempt and was sat leaning on his laptop without as much as a smile. There was no big build up to midnight, no Big Ben chimes, nothing. The whole set up was awful, not sure what the two pathetic lights were about? We were the only two people remaining on our table straight after midnight as the rest got up and left, as did two other tables adjacent to ours. We all retreated to the back bar. The night was certainly a talking point and not for the right reasons. We attended Moorhall for New Years Eve a few years ago and the room was full way after 1am with everyone shouting for more. Not so on this occasion!! Just after midnight this year only half the room was left. Thank god for the piper who saved the midnight celebration!!"

"The DJ was brilliant. Hosted a school disco and was very professional and fantastic at getting the younger and older children and teachers and parents dancing and involved. Played a few games too. We will use him again. Very professional service at the booking end too. Highly recommend."

"So where do I start The team was at my event first thing in the morning with no problems was very professional and I didn’t have to worry about anything they provided the following during my day candy cart photo booth casino table donut stand post box mr and mrs and love letters also the dj for the evening also had the new sparkler machine and confetti cannons for the first dance Honestly they were absolutely fantastic they were very polite and professional I didn’t have to worry about anything during my day Abbie and Chris made everything look amazing the way it was laid out and how nice it looked was just unreal The djs on the night was Jamie and Aaron omg they recommended sparkler machine for my first dance with confetti cannons what a difference it made to the moment it felt so special it was magical I can’t stop looking back at videos of my first dance then they smashed it thru the night the dance floor was full continuously they engaged with the crowd and made everyone’s night all my guests were amazed how good they were All in all the way the team were all of them were amazing couldn’t recommend them enough they made my whole day a day to remember thank you so much"

"Jay from J.A.B.S Event Hire DJ'd at our wedding at the end of August 2019. We found Jay to be absolutely outstanding. The first thing I said to him when he showed up was "You'll be lucky to get me on the dance floor". Aside from our first dance, Jay had me up there no more than an hour into the set! He really knew the crowd and kept the dance floor busy all night. My wife and I had a fantastic evening and we really could not have expected more from J.A.B.S Events. Brilliant lighting, fantastic music, and an amazing atmosphere. You won't be disappointed if you go with these guys! It does cost a tad more to book Jay himself but it was worth every penny! Bravo Jay! Thank you very much for your service, Mr & Mrs Wakeman."

"Two DJS arrived for the wedding 2/8/19 at 18:00 to set up for 19:00.. by the time quests started to arrive they still hadn't sorted out the sound, it took till almost 20:00 for it to finally be sorted, I had paid for the platinum package £310 with lighting , lasers, smoke machine. All that I got was four cheap stage lights, on contacting the company they said because of the size of venue the lighting could not be used for safety reasons, and I was informed that they had contacted the venue prior and they were informed that a smoke ma hine wouldn't be allowed. Yet they still had my full payment 7 days before the date. When I asked for a part payment back as hardly any of the lighting I paid for was actually allowed, I was told by Abigail that's how business works. I would avoid these RIP offs at all costs. The DJ couldn't apologize enough for the issues and spent ages on the phone trying to sort it. Absolutely shocking service. Only got one star as couldn't give less."
