"Store is on the smaller size but has key items for a DIY shop. Staff are very friendly and helpful. But if you exceed the 30 minutes parking you'll get a £100 fine so I won't be visiting again."

"The last few deliveries have been woeful, my recent one had an item missing which is the most important item for a job, and when I got in touch via telephone to confirm the items are missing, they picked up the phone and just hanged up without even speaking. It’s a terrible service especially when I have spent close to £500 within a month of deliveries and that’s without the damaged items I have received in previous orders that I haven’t even complained about, it’s pretty unacceptable. I had no acknowledgement of the item being missing either."

"A fairly small but reasonably well stocked DIY store with plenty of parking. However some items take a while to be restocked and the kitchen showroom takes up far too much room."

"I ordered 2 incised sleepers. What was delivered was one incised sleeper and one non-incised sleeper, which was also horribly cracked and damaged (the guy who arrived with the replacements was suprised that something in such a state was delivered). So I had to stay in especially for the redelivery of a replacement (a very wide window of 6 hours which was inconvenient). For some reason they decided to send 2 replacements even though only one was wrong/damaged. Good job they did because of these 2, again one was not incised. So I suppose it was only luck that meant that I didn't have to wait a third time to get the correct items."

"Parking is run by an external company and limits you to 30 minutes, yes I said 30 minutes, after which it's a £100 parking charge. Just avoid this place completely, take your business elsewhere. I can't see why Wickes behaves this way as it will drive customers away and they will fold. Maybe that is their plan anyway?"
