Reviews of Farmer Brothers
"After spending a lot of money in this shop over the years . yesterday all i was asked is where is my mask. being exempt and wearing a badge to say so ,considering these stupid laws are finished next week i thought it unnecessary . will shop else where in future ."
"Just discovered you had to close your sister store, a Covid victim. A great loss to many of us... Found this sister store due notice in the closure window. Very shocked to find some of the reviews here were negative so to anyone reading reviews (go no go decision?). I very strongly urge you to visit and support it. And no, it is not a pound store as one reviewer mentioned!?? It is on a level of its own supplying specialty products of lasting quality that no mass production manufacturer could afford to equal."
"Have been a farmers customer for 12 years and can't stress how important a shop they are in Chelsea. I take my son in most Saturdays and always get what I come in for. Some of the tools I bought years ago are still going strong as the quality of goods is superb. In this day of internet and big stores, it's great to have such a good hardware store in the neighbourhood."
"1. Disappointing Customer Service. I was sold a universal item that then proved to be faulty. I took it back and was found a working item and then told I wouldn't be given a refund for the faulty version. 2. Over priced - as also noted by another customer in the shop while I was there. 3. Poor knowledge. One reason I chose to use them over b&q was because it is local to me and more importantly for their apparent knowledge, but it became clear that while they can find a product on a shelf, they had no knowledge beyond my own (novice) experience on very standard items! (It was telling to me that on another recent trip to Homebase - Wandsworth an assistant was able to give me advice on a different item which saved me money and got the job done better!!). If you choose to use them, be sure to get the exact right product as you won't likely be allowed a refund."
"Brilliant shop! I have never seen so much stock in my life. Every inch of space is used meaning they always have what I want. Every now and again I am forced to try other shops closer to work, but they NEVER compare to the service and quality of goods I get at Farmers. No wonder they have been on the Fulham road for over 150 years."
