"I rang up to see if I can get my car (E220) booked in for diagnostics as I have an engine management light on. I went through the issues I was having and the code showing on my OBD reader. I was then was put on hold whilst the person on the phone went to check. Was then told that the garage is full with passenger cars so they won’t be able to fit me in. I clarified that does that mean today or not at all. He said not at all. I was baffled that a garage would not want to take on a customer due to the work that it may involve. Although I’m glad that I avoided now, rather than being told they can’t fix the car once booked in."
