"So i rented a property for 3 and a half years. Mostly all was good and i enjoyed living there and any issues were dealt with fairly promptly. However when i vacated the property i was instructed to leave it clean to a 'professional standard'. I did a good job or so i thought, i'd even replaced an old bathroom blind and left it for the new tenant, i also bought some more drawers to match the existing ones.I informed Ascent lettings of this and was told it would be put on the system... On vacating i was charged £60 (off my deposit) for cleaning and for an indentation some heavy furniture had left on the carpet and £25 to replace bulbs ! Unfair i think. Like i say i enjoyed the property and took good care of it and still didnt receive all my initial deposit back."
