Reviews of LloydsPharmacy
"Yet again unfortunately a horrendous customer experience with the Lloyds Pharmacy that is situated within Sainsbury’s. Rang 12 times over a period of four hours regarding a request for some painkilling topical skin creams, as suggested / recommended by the paramedics. Every time, the call was cut off after 12 or so rings. In desperation I got through to Sainsbury’s Customer Service direct on their own separate number, and Mark the Manager provided true five star service by going down to the pharmacy in person and handing them his phone. I would like to respectfully suggest that this one star rating is solely with regard to the Lloyds Pharmacy itself and not Sainsbury’s. I must add that a few years ago, before Covid, I experienced exactly the same problem with Lloyds Pharmacy within Sainsbury’s – so it would appear that they still have not learnt any lessons. May I suggest that Lloyds Pharmacy provide a critical service within the confines of a market-leading superstore brand - and as such - should practice a “duty of care” to ensure that they provide a reliable and trustworthy service and also learn from previously registered failings and adapt accordingly. Thanks."
"I just tried to attend a flu jab appointment that I made a month ago, only to be told that the pharmacist on duty wasn't trained to administer flu jabs. I wasn't notified beforehand and was told they don't know whether pharmacists can administer jabs until the day before, so I wasn't able to reschedule. I now have an appointment at Boots tomorrow, and I won't be using Lloyds again."
"Absolutely useless pharmacy. My daughter was bitten by a dog and she was prescribed penicillin and the doctor across the road sent the prescription electronically. Visited twice the same day but this useless pharmacy kept denying they received it. Pretended Lloyds servers were down and requested I got a bar code from the doctor. When I presented it to them the next day he still claimed he couldn’t find the prescription and would call me, then took my mobile number but two days later still hadn’t called. I went in one week later and then was told they still had no record of the prescription. This place runs like Fawlty Towers. They have obviously NO IDEA what they are doing!"
"The SLOWEST pharmacy I have ever experienced. They are always painfully slow, even when 3 members of staff are working theres a wait of 20 minutes. This time I tried to collect a perscription several times, turns out they misplaced it! I then had to wait half an hour whilst the pharmacist looked through the computer and an assistant stood by. Appalling service."
"My husband and I both had our repeat prescriptions sent electronically to the Lloyds pharmacy inside Sainsburys because it was convenient to pick medication up while shopping. Unfortunately this pharmacy has got steadily worse to the point of being a joke! Number one gripe is the number of times customers are left waiting while staff chat or pretend to look busy totally ignoring customers even if there are 3 or 4 waiting, you know we are there why look surprised when someone tries to attract your attention? Number two it doesn't seem to matter how long they have had the prescription it's frequently not ready and you are asked to call back in 15 minutes or longer. Number three not having the prescription item in stock is becoming all to common, the last item I had to wait to be ordered was not received and they said I would have to get it somewhere else. I did Boots across the car park who also had to order but got it next day and phoned to tell me it was in. None of the above apply only to myself I've been standing in the queue and all these situations arise frequently. Lloyds is no longer convenient it's simply annoying and frustrating. If it was a stand alone pharmacy without the advantage of being situated inside Sainsburys it would go out of business. We no longer have our prescriptions sent to Lloyds and have changed to Boots Mere Green which offers a far superior service."
