"I am a newbie in the area so I thought I would try The Nail File out! I didn't book but Tam squeezed me in between appointments which was very kind, it didn't feel too rushed and he did a great job with my nails. Will be coming back again :)"

"The male assistant that painted my gel nails and feet was like a zombie. He didnt clean the equipment used for the previous client. He then got out this awful electric sanding drill to buff my nails and cuticles. Omg why didnt I refuse! He rushed the base coat leaving gaps and did paint close enough to the cuticles. He did the same with the colour and i had to ask him to repaint the missed corners of my nail tips and got a filthy look. Two weeks later ive removed the gels and I have a horrible ridge around my cuticles where he sanded them so deeply. Hygiene standards do not exist here."

"I'm a newbie when it comes to manicures, have only ever had my nails done once before at another "The Nail *place*" in Dorking and it wasn't a nice experience - I was made to feel like an inconvenience and that's just one of the many reasons I didn't like that place. Having my nails done at The Nail File today was totally different. Found the staff friendly and welcoming, was asked at every stage whether I was happy with how my nails were looking ie shape and colour which I was, and I absolutely love the end result! Plus it only took 40 minutes which was half what it took at the other place, I'm very happy and will definitely be going back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
