"Bunch of very professional and friendly barber Luke is always at the top of the game, attentive to detail and timely in performance. And we had a Nice chat about criminology and crime shows"
"Hi guys, I've used the services of this shop and I was very pleased to find nice people there and above all my barber was a Romanian chap. He was very professional and delivered great customer services. I hope he will be my personal barber for long term. Very well done to him and to the team! I have never had such great services before until today. I recommend this shop and it deserves 10*."
"I recently had a horrendous experience at Chapz Turkish Barber. At the outset, the barbers seem nice and friendly. However, besides that, the barber who has done my haircut had terrible haircutting skills. The tools used on me were not sanitised after using them on the previous customer, I was terrified as I did not want to catch hair lice or fungus infection. The clipper was very sharp and was painful on the scalp (and left me a painful red mark near the edges). I was injured and a cut mark has been left on my forehead! The scissors skills were bad and the result was uneven hair length. I had to use a trimmer to even out my hair length after getting home. The barber was very poorly skilled. At check out, the barber insisted on me paying in cash even though I have seen them reluctantly take a card payment from a previous customer. I offered to cover any bank charges or do a bank transfer but was refused. Perhaps HMRC should find out the reason why this is. Instead of pointing me to a free cash point, they pointed me to the nearest cash point that charges ATM fees. As I only had credit cards I also had to pay my bank fees. It seems that they only care about saving themselves a peanut's amount of money over customers' welfare. It is disappointing that sometimes you want to support small businesses and thought shops in areas like Canning Town must offer better value than say, Central London. In hindsight, Chapz Turkish Barber maybe 20% cheaper than in Central London, but the quality and hygiene etc are at least 50% lower, which makes it in fact more expensive. People sometimes forget that these places are where the real rip-off happens. It now makes me feel that my monthly trips to Central London for haircuts are worth every single penny. In short, this is the worst haircut experience I have ever had in the last 10 years. I do not recommend this barber shop and urge other people to avoid it at all costs."
"I would honestly not come back here even if they paid me. My hair has never been this uneven. Looks disastruous. The barber was also chewing food whilst trimming my hair, his breath smelled like the food he was chewing and cigarette, and charged 18£ for something they should pay you to just to sit there. It was a guy with short gray hair. Please do yourself a favour and avoid this place."
"Horrible customer service, the barber did not know what he was doing and I had to remind him, and then he gave me a look which meant I am keeping him too look. Just to be clear I just needed a haircut and a beard trim which took 20 minutes in total but they made me feel like I am cutting into a busy time in their day or wasting their time The end result was one of the worst haircuts of my life Also they will force you to pay cash even though they have a contactless device"
