Palace Inn Barbers

"Worst barber experience I've ever had. Surprised to see this place so well reviewed, maybe it was the "barber" I had. He went straight in with a different grade to what I asked (I didn't realise until later), knicked at the rest of my hair which I explained I didn't want touched and DRY shaved my face with a straight razor. My head and face was burning with pain. When i asked for shave cream (which he didn't have) he sprayed pure alcohol over my face and head without warning or covering my face - getting it in my eyes, nose and mouth. The shape up wasn't good and his fading skills are questionable. Also lacking in equipment. When I got back I noticed small chunks of the main bulk of my hair which I have been growing for a year had been shaved off. I'm fuming. Ultimately I don't understand why people can't do their jobs. The lack of communication, consideration and ability to follow instruction - especially as a barber - is appalling."
