"Whilst I was sat in the chair, one of the women cutting hair was loudly being very derogatory about my race - unfortunately starting a sentence with "i'm not racist, but -" doesn't disqualify the comments that follow from being racist. Her rant probably lasted 5 minutes but it felt like forever. I'm ashamed of myself for not having said anything at the time, I felt trapped in the chair. A traumatising experience and a real shame."
