"I took my young daughter for a wet cut to Lavish today. She was so relaxed and comfortable that she even started to drift off during her hair cut! The salon is gorgeous and everyone is friendly. My daughter has very curly hair and they cut and styled it beautifully. I will definitely return for myself next time. What a lovely experience!"
"My first cut here was amazing. Second visit I was strong armed into having a treatment I didn’t want, told I wasn’t being charged for a blow dry and was only being charged 50% for free extra treatment. The cut was terrible, the promise of discounts etc was false and I ended up paying over the odds for a terrible cut. The stylist gave me a neck massage without asking if I wanted it and I felt very uncomfortable as I didn’t want such a personal thing. I am never going back."
"Wow, this salon has it all, I booked my 2 girls in for a hair cut and blow dry. They exceeded my expectations The girls came out with such a confidence boost, they were on cloud 9. The products were all organic and smelt amazing, hair cut was professional and the blow dry was glamorous. All salons generally can cut and blowdry to a fairly good standard and do what you pay for. But this salon had a HEART. They cut my 14 month old hair, washed both girls hair and curled my hair for a photo shoot. This was all for free. OMAR'S WORDS. "A babies first cut is special and I want you too feel as special as my wife did" Leyla, Omar and Seko are a fantastic team they can advice you on the latest styles and I would highly recommend. I will be booking my cut this week."
"Staff were incredibly rude and hostile. Very strange experience, highly unprofessional, staff actually seemed like they disliked me and wanted me to leave from the moment I entered. I walked in to try and get an appointment after not being able to book online or reach them via telephone. I was told it would be £29 for a blow dry, when online it says £26 for long hair. The man said this is because on the website there's a 'discount' for new customers. The man doing my hair remarked a few times, seeming annoyed that my hair was very curly and said twice 'you said you had short hair', when I hadn't said anything of the sort. The woman came up and asked who normally does my hair. I said Made In Whetstone (who do amazing blow dries for £25), & she basically implied I was lying, saying 'I don't believe that they'd charge that' and that she knew the owners and that they would not charge that amount for hair like mine. When I went to the till the man tried to charge me £32, despite quoting £29 at the beginning (and the website saying £26). I paid £29 after some debate, said thanks and bye and was totally ignored."
"Lavish has a smart team of experts. Plus, the lovely pompom makes the hairdressing experience enjoyable. I admire your patience and attention to detail. You have exceeded my expectations. I don't understand the bad reviews as you are very communicative and truly a dedicated hairdressing team. Thanks for making our high street charming and professional."
