"We took our 10 week old pup in as she had a bad case of worms, she was seen very quickly by Amy who was brilliant with her and also helped put our minds at ease. We were in and out within 30 minutes and she was given medication on the same day which helped clear up the issue within a few days. I would 100% recommend this vets"

"Recently contacted this clinic as my 16 week old puppy was experiencing a lot of pain and blood in her urine. After contacting the clinic they provided us with an emergency appointment to go and see someone straight away and I was seen within 15 minutes of my arrival. I didn’t take the vets name but I would give her another 5 stars if I could. She was polite, very efficient and just amazing with the pup. She did a full health check and tested some samples whilst we waited. Within 30 minutes to an hour we had the results and walked away happy with some medication. Finger crossed for a speedy recovery. We attempted to get our pup into 5 other vets before we was accepted into this one and I honestly wish this was the the first and only vets we tried. I will forever be taking my pup back here. Thank you to all the people that helped."

"I have used Animal Trust for the past 6 years and it's gone further downhill every time I've visited. I had to go in for an emergency appointment with my dog. I gave the insurance claim form to reception and paid the £7 fee as requested. I then contacted them a few weeks later to ask for an update on the progress of the claim to be told they haven't even received the claim form. They then told me I had to submit it via email which I did. The claim was eventually paid out. A few weeks later I had to order a repeat prescription which I paid for in full. I claimed through my insurance myself on this one to get the money back for the meds because my insurer doesn't require the vet to submit it for a repeat prescription. My claim was accepted by my insurer and paid out no problem. A couple of weeks later I get an email to say Animal trust have submitted a claim for a repeat prescription and that they were charging me £7 for it even though I hadn't instructed them to do so! I submitted the claim myself so didn't need animal trust to do it on my behalf. The matter had already been sorted but they randomly opened a new claim! So I tried to contact them via email multiple times as you can never get hold of anyone on the phone, all of my emails were ignored (i sent them to a working email as I have had contact with them on this email address weeks prior) I submitted a complaint and Animal Trust tried to turn it around on me saying I'd submitted two claim forms for the repeat prescription (I hadn't the two claim forms were because they hadn't logged the one I handed in to reception so I had to submit one via email for a completely different thing which had already been settled weeks before.) I was told my complaint was rejected and I owed them £7 for them submitting a claim I never even asked them to do. I appealed the complaint and have once again been ignored so I have given up and moved to a new vets. Don't let the not for profit thing fool you, the cost of treatments are double what they are at any other vets to make up for the fact that there is no consultation fee and if you have an issue you just get ignored."

"I went today to pick up a repeat prescription for my dog. It was very quiet and the receptionist was out in front of the desk cuddling a little dog and talking to her owner. I had a stroke of the little dog, the receptionist handed her back to her owner and bade them goodbye with smiles. In no time she found my dogs medication, took payment and after a quick few friendly words I was on my way. The staff at this practice wether vets, nurses or other supporting staff have one thing in common. They are passionate about their clients and their owners and the treatment we receive there is of the highest quality. Sometimes we have to wait a long time when they're busy or dealing with an emergency, but when we get seen we can be sure that we get the best possible expertise available. I would not think of taking a pet to any other vet after the specialised help they have given my dog who has a very rare disease. They have state of the art diagnostic equipment and vets with the expertise to know how to treat rare conditions. I recommend the Animal Trust wholeheartedly."

"I finally feel ok enough to leave this review. 17th august 2021 was when I brought my cat Oreo here after he had been hit by a car. He was alive but very unwell. When I tell you this cat was literally like my child I’m not exaggerating. So when your cat is lay dying and the vet is literally shouting at you to decide within 5 minutes of arrival whether to put him to sleep or pay extortionate amounts of money to try to help him, it’s an awful experience. She was a female vet I can’t remember her name, rude, awful awful woman. She was not nice to me and my mum from the moment we arrived. This woman shouted at us to make a decision, huffed and puffed when we was stressing about what to do all while I was absolutely heartbroken and devastated that the cat I had for 8 years was dying and In extreme pain. We said we would pay for the vet care/investigations after a while and she said and I quote ‘cats don’t usually survive these types of accidents, are you sure you can afford it? It’s going to cost a lot of money’ but speaking down to us extremely patronising. She went back out of the room and left us to think. 2 minutes later she returned extremely rude ‘come on guys I need a decision!!’ Shouting at us and I mean shouting. I was literally crying my eyes out. We decided to put my Oreo to sleep. I was devastated. It was that, or drag out his pain with surgeries / investigations etc to see the extent of his injuries. It was the last decision I’d want to make in the world. I didn’t want that awful woman going anywhere near him in his last moments with me as she was so awful. I asked for a different vet and a 2nd opinion. I’m not sure what the male vets name was, I can’t remember but he was really nice. Really reassuring, told us in the correct right way that Oreo probably wouldn’t Survive his injuries in his opinion. He put my Oreo to sleep whilst I was holding him. He left me and my mum with him in his final moments. I’m thankful to him that he gave us this time. I do not know who the female vet was but I wish her every unsuccess in the world with her vetinary career and her life in general. I wish her nothing but pain and sadness in her life. She had 0 compassion, was extremely rude and patronising. Not to mention literally shouting at me and my mum. Not what you need whilst your animal is literally dying in front of you. I will never use Animal Trust again. But I am thankful for the male vet who showed care and compassion when I needed it most. RIP Oreo 17/08/2021."
