"I booked for a balyage and cut 2 months for my holiday to Japan with Suzi, originally I had a 10.10am appointment. However, as I was starting a new job I requested if I can reschedule for another date. This wasn't possible so I said to keep the appointment but it was taken already. So she rescheduled me for 9am that same day. Google maps estimated the travel time would be approx 40mins but due to traffic it took me an hour to get there and I arrived 15 mins late (9.15am). Outcome: Suzi tried her best to rearrange my appointment with some one else as this would mean it would affect her next appointment. I said if it was possible then great if not then not to worry as it was my fault being late. In the end Molly started my hair around 10.30am and finished sometime after 11am as she had another client booked in for that time... I've added a picture for reference of the outcome of my hair. The pics wer taken a few days after, but it looks like... I paid £155 for my hair to be blended/balyage before my holiday but have ended up with three blocks of colours in my hair, some parts with two blocks.. Treatment: Molly applied bleach to my hair without any foils and weaved some chunks on the top part of my hair. Not sure what happened to the bottom half. Towels were limited there so when they washed my hair, they dried my hair with the used towel from the previous client that had her hair washed next to me. When cutting my hair she didn't put something around me to protect my clothing so I was covered in hair. I left the salon approximately around 2.30pm. I tried to rectify this with the girls but I'm not sure if the message didn't get relayed or just ignored. These girls are self employed and I've come to realise they lack serious work ethics when it comes to bookings and quality."

"I discovered Suzi (@hair.by.suzi) on Instagram after a recommendation from a friend and had to book in for a colour because her work looked amazing and she had tons of experience with Asian hair too! She definitely did not disappoint and I have had so many compliments on my hair since I had it done. Historically I have found hairdressers in the UK have had trouble dealing with my hair in terms of both cut and colour because it's not 'stereotypical' Asian hair (i.e. dead straight and jet black) and instead is frizzy, thick, dark and between a curl and a wave. Suzi had no issue though and gave great advice on what was realistic and how to achieve the colour I wanted. The salon was itself was lovely and I had a good time chatting with Suzi while she was doing my hair. She was very friendly and welcoming and I can't wait till I'm next in the UK to book my next appointment! (Yes, I'm booking in to have my hair done by Suzi even though I live 6,000 miles away in Hong Kong - she's THAT good!)"
