"Not the best manicure. Had my nails done while waiting for our car to be serviced locally. While the girl did an okay job at shaping my nails and cutting the cuticles, the paint part was rather disastrous. I normally wear glasses which sadly I wasn't that day. Even so I still saw a few nails being badly painted with thick bits of shellac dried near the nail bed and it was lifting in some corners. She tried to file it but hurt my cuticles and obviously only made it worse. I then asked the nail technician to redo a few nails which she did. When I got home and put my glasses on I noticed more areas where the paint covered skin or cuticles and 3 days later it started lifting and peeling. Also I believe the gels they use are not the best quality as in some areas its still a little tacky and feels soft(it leaves a dent if I press the nail in). Not sure whether it is a lack of skill, poor quality gel polish or both."

"Threading; Very clearly asked to keep my shape of brows, just a clean up. Twice I’ve asked to keep my brows thick and to NOT touch the ends. The lady threading completely ignored my requests and took hairs away that shaped the tip of my eyebrow. Classic mistake that has happened before hence my very clear request. It takes forever to grow so she has messed me up for the month. Additionally she added arches on the bottom of my brows making them look over plucked. When I told her, she proceded to tell me it was already that way. Not happy, will not be coming back"

"About 6 weeks ago I went in for a hot wax. It was honestly probably one of the worst wax I've had. The lady told me that my hair is really hard to get rid of and that I needed to stop sweating as she couldn't take the hair out properly. I felt as though she was putting the blame on me, when really she couldn't do her job properly. She used hot wax on my armpits and I still have dark circles in the shape of the wax that she used because it was too hot when she applied it onto my armpit. Avoid at all costs!!! I went for a wax today to the salon opposite and she had absolutely no problem with getting rid of my hair!"
