"Edited. The reception staff are lovely as are the stylists and colour technicians. i feel the pricing too high for the market, if not providing 100% for all clients satisfaction. As a client paying these prices to skilled professionals, you'd expect to continue for a number of weeks, knowing money's well-spent on 100% hair happiness! My cuts have been hit and miss. £85 is only justified when there's a full hour of cutting time after washing and when the stylist has time to advise which shampoo and conditioner is best used for each client on the day. Surely general use with one shampoo/conditioner for every client wouldn't be great, because it's nice to to assess the products benefit for each individual hair type. Stylists could also be committed to finishing a cut professionally, checking it throughout in line with the shape of one's head, neck n face.. I was loyal but found it was a mess last time, grew out poorly. Over the years, no loyalty reward or discounts offered etc. I think the problem is when salons get busier, the downside for clients can be that salons gradually become more of a conveyor belt-type system and staff have inadequate time to give a full hair discussion, new ideas, suitable products etc. That's the part of the hairdressing business which upsets me most. I have a new stylist who did a quality job, 1st time. Great result. 25q less for everything Long-winded i know, in attempt to be soecific. (( won't be returning to Clay unfortunately)"
