"Jo and the team at ALG Finance have been helpful in helping me understand what my financial options are to help me through the pandemic. While I have ended up not borrowing from them in the end as they talked me through what might be better for my business, I appreciated their advice and honesty about what is right for me."
"ALG Finance are a great company to deal with. Jo has been extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous in her approach, and I have found her and the company to be nothing but excellent in every aspect of their work. I have already referred ALG Finance to colleagues, past and present."
"ALG Finance are a great company that lend to people - losing the ‘computer says no’ attitude that exists with mainstream lenders. Linus is extremely helpful, knowledgable and professional and Jo is extremely efficient. ALG helped us grow from a small landscape company to a large importer and wholesaler, supplying lending on machinery and vans when others wouldn’t - would recommend to any business owner looking to finance assets and take that next step."
"I can not thank Jo and Linus for all the great work that they have done for my clients over the years. Through helping my clients with financing for unexpected bills, purchasing new vehicles and assets or refinancing existing assets, the process has always been quick, efficient and done with extreme diligence and attention to detail with open communications every step of the way. I will continue to work with Jo and Linus for all my clients finance needs and could not recommend them highly enough."
"Absolutely appalling company! An unprofessional, aggressive outfit who use bullying tactics against staff members to get what they want. This company financed a car for a customer purchasing a vehicle we had in stock. On arrival the customers part exchanges weren't as described and had a number of serious defects which were into declared before travelling to us. These included a leaking differential, bald tyres, 5000 more miles on the clock than declared, damaged paintwork, worn out brake disks etc etc. Repairs which would cost several thousand pounds to rectify. As with any car dealership a part exchange deal is agreed subject to inspection of the vehicles involved much the same as the customer buying the car is expected to check the car they are buying before proceeding. Following the discovery of these faults we had a conversation with the buyer where we politely suggested we may need to revise the part exchange valuations in order to proceed with the deal giving the extent of the issues. At this point the director of this company; Linus Berry called our office to shout and threaten our junior sales person, even suggesting legal action if we didn't proceed with the deal despite all the issues and costs we would incur as a result. Under pressure he and without being able to contact the directors of the company he was bullied and forced into accepting the deal, leaving us with two misdescribed vehicles with expensive and serious issues to rectify. We will be making the financial ombudsman aware of how this company operate - bullying, threatening and acting aggressively to satisfy their own business interests. Shocking."
