"I went there for breakfast as part of a group. The fire alarm was triggered and they told us it was a test. After 15 minutes with the loud sound we were served and the minute after we were told that we had to leave the place asap for our safety, but they were retaining people to pay and some people were refusing to pay as they didn't have the time to eat/drink what they ordered. Despite I couldn't finish what I ordered I came back to pay when they reopened, but the way I was treated when I did so made me regret about it. It's not the customer's fault, so they shouldn't be that rude. I think they should be prepared for these circumstances to handle it correctly and make the evacuation process smooth and easy, and reasonable for people (not making them pay for what the customer didn't have time to drink or what hasn't been even served, at the same time that there's an alarm because something is not right)."

"We made a reservation at this place for 5 people for brunch on a Sunday. When we arrived the table was only set for 4 people. The wait staff corrected this once we pointed it out. Someone took our drinks and food order, and we needed to repeat ourselves multiple times per order. The food all came out at different times, with over 10 minutes between dishes. I had the beetroot hummus with smashed avocado. It was quite a small serving, but still fairly tasty. The coffees were only okay, nothing special. The wait staff needs more work to be attentive. We could have easily bought more coffee if they checked in on us. The bathroom is not nice. Bit more like a public toilet."

"We reserved a table and that was ready for us, which was good because it was very busy. The food when it arrived was delicious. I've marked them down because the toilet situation is dire. There's one toilet for the whole place, so there is always a queue, and it was in a real state by the time I got in. My main reason though for marking down is the food service. 5 of us ordered, 3 dishes arrived within about 20 mins which was great. After about 10 minutes, the other 2 dishes hadn't arrived yet. When I asked where they were, I was told that they were coming. I asked why they were late and was told because they were busy. We ordered all together, we should've got our food together. There wasn't so much as a sorry for the delay or split delivery. Had the others waited for us to start, their food would've been ice cold."

"Came for drinks and a bite to eat. Staff were very helpful, and it was one of the few places which had availability in their outdoor seating area. We ordered glasses of rosé and two glasses of water. The rose was orange in colour (literally an orange wine) which was unexpected, and the water never came. There is a good range of bar snacks, and sharing boards with cheeses and charcuterie. We ordered the baba ganoush (an aubergine dip), padron peppers, and nachos - the latter dish feeling rather out of place on the menu. They shouldn’t have bothered with the nachos, and clearly the chef didn’t, because there was barely any cheese, small dollops of guac, cream and salsa on top, and layers of desperately dry corn chips. It needed way more cheese and some jalapeños at the very least. It was very disappointing. It was a pleasant evening altogether, but for a small coffee bar they could really do with refining the menu (drinks and food wise) to focus on doing a few things really well, including some really good wines."
