Reviews
"I'm in this store at least 7 times a week as I live over the road and even when it's really busy all the staff are always helpful and cheery. Can't understand all the bad reviews to be honest but I suppose people just like to moan ayy. 5 stars"
"Used to be a nice store. Now, every time I go there are massive queues with few proper tills open and staff standing around watching people use self service who don't want to and who physically struggle in many cases. They literally don't want to take your money, so why should we be giving it to them? If the staff standing around just manned the tills, it'd be fine. But no, that's too much to ask."
"People working in the customer service kiosk are generally laid back and too relaxed. They spend ages chatting to customers they know and take their time chatting about all sorts before serving the next customer. There is a lack of efficiency and urgency, this gets frustrating when you are in a hurry or just want to get in and out. A quick ‘hello how was your day’ is fine but they should be getting customers through much quicker rather than having full blown chats. Please sort this out as you will lose customers especially at this time of year when it’s really busy."
"I purchased goods from the store and paid with my contactless card. The moody looking woman on the checkout informed me that the payment had not gone through and told me to try again, which I did. The payment went through. I checked my bank account after and had been charged twice. The attitude of the woman was disgusting when I said I had been charged twice. No apology just grunted it will go back in my account in 3 days… In these hard times this could have been all the money I had or could have stopped a direct debit coming out of my account.. Staff need training in customer service skills. I will never shop at Asda again"
"Although some of the staff have helped me in the past, there is a general atmosphere that most of the staff don't want to help you. They also do not offer exchanges or refunds for products purchased online and also at bigger stores such as Small Heath, which is a massive hassle and not indicated anywhere online or in store? I was informed to go back to the original store by the unhelpful lady at the customer service kiosk who just smirked, laughed at me and turned me away."
