"Butcher in this shop need awareness course about risk of food poisoning. Meat from this shop is dangerous and must go to bin."
"I think this is one of the best shops in Sparkhill for food, it sells a wild range of food from Afghan to Pakistanis food. Their staff is kind and loving and care about their customers whenever and wherever they are. I want to thank Amman supermarket and when I need to buy things this will be the first place I will go. Thank you very much"
"Great shop with great customer services. All Pakistani and Afghani food u can get it easy Very good price."
"Was nice, friendly and clean when it first opened. Now sells a lot of visibly bad fruit at the front on pavement, with cars parked alongside the red route and constant vehicle fumes. Also, their butcher used to be a very clean pleasant man. Now it's usually about three men at the counter using dirty cloths between handling meat and wiping counter surfaces. This place needs a health inspection."
"Terrible "Superstore", if there was a 0 star option, I would most definitely choose it. There are multiple issues with the entire store Firstly, the staff are disrespectful and arrogant, they constantly tease and joke about customers. They also seem to disregard anyone apart from themselves. One cashier is extremely aggressive for no reason and doesn't give out receipts, so there's no knowing if you've been charged or not. In some sections, some items don't even have price tags, the shop isn't looked after at all. Secondly, the "fresh" fruit and vegetables outside are always damaged, not to mention that they always leave the same products out for days, even weeks, without changing them, then proceed to lie about the products, claiming that they are changed "every day" and that the heatwave is the cause of the fruit and vegetables rotting, essentially. Finally, the cleanliness is appalling, there is always fruit and vegetables on the floor that nobody picks up or even dares to clean. There are flies galore in the shop. I always just see 1 worker (a short man who usually works in the fruit and vegetables area) who actually puts effort in, but the rest however, do not care about the shop, the customers or anything, to be frank. The shop's owner must step up and act mature, the owner must do something about this store. Either shut it down or take the time to fix it."
