"Racial profiling very much exists in this store. My son works in Aldi and on his break he rang me and I told him to nip next door and buy a sandwhich. He went in, purchased his sandwhich and I told him to take his receipt. Sure enough as he was leaving a woman rushes over to him and asks him if he bought the sandwich, asked how he paid and only left him when he showed his receipt. DISGISTING SERVICE. Similar happened to my partner in the Chorlton branch. I wont be shopping in any of these stores again!! Doesn't even deserve 1 star!"
"Display is lovely as you walk in. Fresh flowers and planting pots. Mother's Day gifts set up. Aisles are clean and it wasn't packed with people so it was nice to stroll around and glance at the different products that you wouldn't normally look at. Lovely little cafe inside which I've yet to try. Large and extremely clean store."
"Usually great place to shop with very helpful staff, great selection of fresh food but today not happy with their misleading fish deli counter deal. Make sure you don't end up doing what I did. Deal and non deal products are next to each other. I did check and got refunded but it took going via 2 tills, and took far too long. Not impressed M&S, pls sort out your deal displays, thanks."
"I went in yesterday and they had one till open and the queue was at the back of the store. There was one gentlemen on the self service tills who was dealing with 50 things at once, doing his absolute best but needing another staff member. Clear lack of staffing or planning, loads of people were walking out and I was told not to bother on the way in as it was taking 15 mins to checkout"
"Lovely store, always well presented. A little on the smaller side for a food hall but given the limited retail space it's understandable. Quality food, nice little bakery section and a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. Theres an extensive wine selection, greetings cards and even flowers/bottled plants and exotic teas and coffees. Staff are generally lovely there, I've been going to that foodhall since it opened years back and I've never had any issues. Parking is free and plentiful at the retail park, just watch out for match days as I believe the free parking time is halved from 3hrs to 90mins. But please see the notice boards in the carpark to confirm. Also, just a heads up of youre driving, the retail park itself can get extremely busy, usually late sunday afternoon, and it can be difficult to leave the as there is only 1 entrance/exit."
