"Best indian snacks place in Greater Manchester, whole indian stocks in store always.. very friendly staff."
"I love this shop! I can get amazing fruits and vegetables with great flavour. I also get cassava (which I love!) And all kinds of flour! We get big bags of rice and potatoes from here at least once a month. Big bags of nuts and all kinds of spices too. Highly recommend it!"
"This is a great place to find Indian groceries and unique brands. There are many brands which I did not find in entire Manchester but I found here. It is worth giving it a visit. E.g. Desi Ghee you can find here brands like Patanjali, Dabur etc. Lays - you can find all type of Lays which is very rare in other stores. Brands like Ashirwad and Pillsbury can also be found here. Everest brands for spices is available. There are lot many other brands and snacks. You can find Maggie, Ching's like brands for snacks. Not only this , they also sell veggies and almost all the veggies were there when I visited including most rare BottleGuard. You also find nearby good Indian restaurant and have something there :) Lilly's restaurant - it is great :) Cons - Space is very less if you are walking with a trolley, also it will be crowded so you have to struggle a little with your trolley. There are limited space of parking so in case that is full, you might need to use parking of some other store nearby like Aldi or Ikea. If you are using public transport, Ashton-under-lyne tram and bus stop is nearby."
"A week a go I went to the store. They were very rude when I asked for a box. A pregnant woman in front of me needed help and they didn't even bother. Their vegetables are not fresh and overpriced. The old owners use to be so good with a warm welcome, and really helped. The new ones started bringing in meat products, to a store which prides itself on being vegetarian. Before parking was free no need for validation. With the cost of living going up, there prices are exceeding inflation. They also do false advertising saying things are two for £1.50, and then saying it is for a different vegetable. Gone are the days when this store use to be good."
"I have been looking for a Gujarati shop to buy indian grocery's and this shop has it all. From chapati flour to khichri and a whole lot more. I also found fresh curry leaves which is not easy to come by. Great selection of lentils, spices, fresh and frozen food. The fresh vegetables were of a good quality. This place also sells Diwali decorations and household utensils. Just make sure you register your car registration number before leaving to prevent getting a fine. Thank you Girish Bhai for a wonderful shopping experience. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend this place to family / friends."
