"We have recently moved to London and we were concerned about finding a proper Pizzeria. We found one of the best pizza we have had, out of Italy. Stefania and the Team were extremely nice, Mohammed is a real "Italian Maestro Pizzaiolo" preparing a great dough: the results is simply amazing as well as amazing is the choice of toppings, burrata and parma ham are amazing."

"Pizza was lovely. But the service was the worst I have ever experienced. My girlfriend and I had booked dinner at 6:45 this evening (only an hour before hand so not putting anyone out). However we suddenly realised on arrival that we had both booked a table for 2, they staff insisted this wouldn’t be an issue and that neither of us would be charged a cancellation fee. It was also great to see the spare table being used by a walk in 10 minutes later. It was however a shock to then find a £20 cancellation charge come through during dinner having previously been told this would not be the case. When we finished and politely asked if the £20 charge could either be deducted from the bill or could be reasonably sorted the next morning we were met by a barrage of abuse from a staff member who threatened to phone the police, suggesting we weren’t going to pay the bill. I can assure you this was never the case, but the threat was very scarring and a worrying that the ‘management’ could not provide any option other than phoning the police. I genuinly felt like we were behaving as the staff and they were kicking off more like a customer. They also had the audacity to try and included a service charge in the bill (which of course we paid). But it has left a sour taste in the mouth and we certainly wouldn’t recommend Zia Lucia Balham to anyone in the near future."

"When we arrived the staff were in the middle of a massive argument over some takeaway order confusion. Took ages to get served as a result. They knew we arrived a while ago but didn’t seem to care. Once they finally took our order the pizza came in reasonable time. However, it was nothing special. The base was fine but the tomato sauce was dry and not flavoursome. Don’t recommend it."

"Great pizza! Lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff, the service was a little bit slow but I don't blame them, they only have two men making pizza, probably they need to hire more people! The place is newly open, so it was really busy for a Monday!"
