Halfords Autocentre Slough (Farnham Road)

"Came here to have 2 brand new tyres fitted and front wheel alignment done. Waited 10 minutes at reception before some1 turned up (i promise you im not exaggerating) Once all work was completed i reliased there was no print out for wheel alignment before and after. I asked for the print out and the guy started mumbling excuses after excuses on why there couldn't give me 1. After arguing for 5 minutes i left with out my print out. How do i know you did the wheel alignment with no print out of before and after? Lost all faith in the garage and trust. Checked my tyre pressure for the new tyres on my way home at the petrol station and the tyres were well below the required psi pressure. Absolutely disgusting. Would i use to centre again? Absolutely not. Would i recommend this centre to anyone? Definitely not."

"Had a tyre change appointment booked for 1pm on a Saturday. The place was understaffed and my tyre didn't get changed until 2:10pm - sounded like one of the better waiting times that day. This is at no fault to the single poor guy who was inundated with tasks having to handle both the front desk and manage all the cars needing worked on. Poor management on behalf of Halfords here. Wouldn't recommend going here there are plenty of other garages around."

"Be told to be at 9am sharp for a service which would long 2 hours. I left the car at 8.50 and after 4 hours they did not move my car from the parking bay and told me to stay cause for sure my car will be the next one... Me: "When is it going to happen? I have already lost half of my day" Receptionist: "I don't know as we are fully book" Me: " But you agreed to carry the service at 9am.." Receptionist: "I dont mind if you want the keys and leave..." Unbelievable"

"Booked my car for tyre replacement. Tyre was ordered and arrived next say but the tyre fitter was extremely slow. I waited nearly 2 hours for 1 tyre to be put on my car. When it was done I couldn't find the locking nut. Asked the fitter and he said it was in the glove compartment. The guy at the reception was helpful (and displeased with the fitter) and guess where the nut was... on the wheel. I would have drove off if I didn't have a feeling that the nut would not be where I placed it at the time my car went in! Other than that decent place..."

"Would have given 5 stars but booked my car in for 2 new tyres for 9:30am and arrived as required 10 mins ahead of time only to be told to leave my car with them all day! For 2 tyres? The manager (I assume) told me their tyre fitter had called in sick, then said he would need the car "for a few hours" to complete the work! When I said this simply wasn't acceptable, he took a technician off another job to complete my tyres fitting, which still took over an hour. Great price but the service leaves something to be desired"
